Our music director, Dr. Anna Vavilova, joined Ladner United Church in 2025. Many of you may know her from the Richmond music community—teaching piano, performing, or organizing music events for youth and seniors. Born in Latvia and raised in Canada, she’s spent most of her life in the Lower Mainland and feels very much at home here. Anna loves helping people discover the joy of music. She believes music is one of God’s gentlest gifts—something that brings us together and lifts our spirits. In a busy world, she hopes our music-making creates small moments of calm, connection, and joy for everyone.
