The Leadership Council and/or the COVID-19 Task Group will be providing monthly updates on LUC’s COVID-19 response. Below is the FOURTH monthly update. We thank you for your patience as we navigate this pandemic with the utmost caution and concern for our community’s safety, health, and well-being.

Some of the photos above are silly depictions of work we take seriously as staff when we’re at the church for our office hours nowadays.
Since October 5th, when we re-opened the building for Step 2, the staff have been spending time each day cleaning, sanitizing, and making sure each space is safe. Our time is used a bit differently now. Rather than easily meeting with people one after another, we take the time between each person we see to spray down the high contact surfaces with out new spray bottles and cleaning product. And rather than quickly packing up at the end of the day, we take the time to fog our spaces, ensuring that the droplets land on all surfaces and will be sanitized for the next use. We then fill out the cleaning logs and make sure to leave the building as safe and as clean as we found it.
Although this work can sometimes feel time-consuming, it’s very necessary for the continued health of everyone who enters and we so appreciate everyone’s patience as we get used to these new protocols.
